*1 and One-Half Years Old - 7.6 Pounds
*Happy, Loving, Sweet, Cuddly
*Nearly Potty Trained
*Needs Someone Home Most of the Time
Hi everyone. Are you looking for a super sweet little guy who wants to hang with you 24/7? Then your search is over! I'm Barnett, one of the pooches FTF rescued from a hoarding situation in Tennessee. While I've only been in my foster home a short time, I quickly discovered how wonderful it is to be loved and cared for. Now I'm a total cuddle bug who is happy just being around my foster mom and other humans.
I'm proud to report that I'm almost potty trained and sleep through the night without having any accidents. Also, I do fine in my crate when you have to leave me alone for short periods. My foster mom says my current energy level is low, but she thinks that may change as I settle in and learn how to play. I'm working on spending more time outside and walking on a leash, and am ready to be taught more skills when you sign us up for training classes (a requirement for my adoption). Since I'm very treat- and food-motivated, you can be sure I'll catch on very quickly! Finally, I get along with other dogs my size (haven't met any large ones yet) and would do best in a home with older kids who understand I need some time to adjust to my new life.
Before FTF rescued me, I had no idea what love was. Now that I do, I can't wait to share it with you. I hope you feel the same and will fill out an adoption application right away!
Love and licks,
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
