Ooh, la la! My name is Bikini, and my bright, sunshine personality will make every day feel like summer when I am by your side! I'm a big brindle-colored beauty - currently weighing about 115 pounds - and my loving personality is even bigger! My favorite activity in the world is cuddling with my people, followed closely by receiving head massages, praise, and (of course) treats. Once I love you, I love with my whole heart and can be protective of my humans, so I would thrive with dog-savvy people in a quiet, adult-only home (no children or teenagers, please!) without too many visitors since too much excitement can stress me out. I am generally pretty mellow and am a naptime expert, but I also have short bursts of energy and bounce around when I am feeling playful: I like to dance and reach out my paws to you. I get along well with the other doggie and cat in my foster home, and would enjoy a fenced yard at my forever home.

I have lovely house manners and you will be happy to have me as your forever roommate. I am potty trained and rest easily in a crate if you need to leave home for a few hours for work or errands. If I had to admit one minor flaw, it would be that my tail rarely stops wagging so I might accidentally knock a mug or wine glass off a coffee table as I pass by. I am a smart girl who is very treat motivated so if you wanted to teach me more commands I bet I would be a good student! I have a heart condition that requires me to take medications I will need for the remainder of my life, but I do not let it affect my day-to-day (I get my meds in treats, so I take them very well!) My foster momma can explain my medical needs in further detail. If you have been on the hunt for an affectionate dog with endless love to give to her people, I think you have found your girl! I hope you fill out an adoption application soon because I am ready to make you smile with my big heart!

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
