BIO:
Hi, future family! My name is Cutie Pie, and yes - I am as adorable as my name suggests! I am a lovey-dovey, cuddly little gal (I am only expected to be 30-40 pounds full grown) who enjoys playing with toys and sitting in your lap. I can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but after some praise and treats I am your best furry friend. I will thrive with adopters who will continue to work on socialization and training with me (training is a requirement of my adoption). I love other doggies and it would be a big bonus to have a furry friend in my forever family: I play very nicely and am submissive to older/bigger dogs. And I even get along with kitty cats! I'm smart and have been working hard to learn all the important things I need to, including potty training (I am mostly there, but just need to work on "holding it" longer) and I sleep well in my crate overnight with no accidents. I'm in my puppy chewing stage, but happily redirect to appropriate teething toys when presented with one. If you are looking for a precious little lady to be your adventure buddy (I love to be outside exploring!) and snuggliest friend, I hope you fill out an adoption application soon!
Puppies are cute, cuddly and looking for a family to call their own. They need an owner who is home often, and willing to help with training, socializing and housebreaking. They need to be let out often so they can learn to go potty outside. Training is required, and we will need to see proof from adopters that puppies have been signed up for classes. They need an owner to be committed to them forever, and in return they will reward you with a lifetime of cuddles, kisses and love. Sound like a commitment you're ready to make? Adoption Fees
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.

Adoption Requirements

Lives in 50 mile radius of Itasca within the Illinois border
-
Be at least 21 years of age

Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

Have approval from owner of the residence (written in lease)

Have a valid ID with current address

Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation

Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
