Hola! I'm Diego, and if you are looking for a dog who is all fun, fun, FUN, well - here I am! I am a goofy dude who will thrive with an active and patient family that will help me rein in my exuberant personality so I can be the well-mannered family dog I know I am meant to be. My favorite activities include all things play: I love toys and other dogs (though some dogs don't like my high energy level and I would do best with medium/large dogs who don't mind my rambunctious playstyle), and while I'm happy to share my toys, I can be possessive of my food. Once we get to know each other, I'll understand that my food won't be taken from me, and, in a home, I know this is something we can overcome! I also enjoy long walks so I can explore and get my exercise (I would be a great workout pal!). Just so you know, I'm told I'm very strong, I like to pull, and I need to be taught not to chase after the cars going by. I would really thrive with a person who has owned a dog before and can help me (through training) learn how to walk safely on a leash! I also get along great with people of all ages; as much as I love kiddos, I think for now I would be best with older ones so I don't accidentally knock over one of my smaller friends when doing zoomies or giving hugs. While I have a lot to learn, I'm very smart and want to please: I am already potty trained, I settle in my crate after a few minutes to rest, and I know a few basic commands like sit. I really crave stimulation and to work my brain! I get frustrated when I'm bored and have been known to chew, dig, or mark so while you are off taking care of human responsibilities please leave me a good chew or an enrichment toy to keep me busy! Fetching Tails requires adopters to sign up their new young pups for training classes, and I know I will be the best in class if given the opportunity. I even think it could be fun to sign up for advanced classes like agility or nosework once we master the basics so I can keep working my brain! I have a contagious love of life, and I would love a family that enjoys the active lifestyle as much as I do. If that sounds like you and we could be a good fit, I hope you fill out an adoption application soon! I am ready for forever and a lifetime of fun!
