Meet Elphaba!

No flying broom required-just an open heart. This little girl may share her name with the famous green witch from Wicked, but there's nothing wicked about her. Elphaba is all sweetness, snuggles, and puppy kisses, and she's ready to cast a spell on her forever family.

At just 3-4 months old and about 15 pounds, Elphaba is the perfect mix of playful and loving. She has all the energy you'd expect from a puppy, spending her days running, exploring, and playing before happily curling up in your lap for a nap. In fact, her favorite place to be is in your arms. She loves being held like a baby and will gladly soak up every cuddle she can get.

Rescued from a southern Illinois shelter, Elphaba is now discovering just how magical life can be in a loving home. She's crate trained, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and is making great progress with potty training. Frequent potty breaks after naps, playtime, and time in her crate help set her up for success.

Elphaba gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is already learning her manners. She knows sit and kennel up (especially if treats are involved!) and is eager to keep learning. She's a smart little girl who loves making her people happy.

Because she's still a young, energetic puppy, she'd do best in a home with older children who can keep up with all of her playful adventures.
