*3 Years Old - 31 Pounds
*Shy but Very Sweet
*Dog Friendly - Another Dog Preferred
*Working on Potty & Crate Training
*Would Thrive With A Calm, Patient Family
Wanna cuddle? My name is Emerson, and please don't let my initial shyness fool you: once I take a few days to settle in and trust, I am the most affectionate gal who loves cuddling right in your lap. I was rescued from a cruelty case in Tennessee, so I am just starting to learn what the good life really is. I have discovered I love, love, love lots of snuggles, and I will thrive with a patient family that gives me time to come out of my shell. I also love the company of other dogs and think I would prefer a home with another doggie friend. I would do best with older children who understand that I enjoy calm and quiet because loud noises startle me easily. My adopters will need to sign me up for training classes so I can learn everything I didn't get a chance to in puppyhood. I think it will be a wonderful bonding experience and really help me work on my confidence. As you can see in my gorgeous, soulful eyes I have a lot of love to give, and eagerly await the special people who will give me the happily ever after I have always dreamed about!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
