Good day, future family! My name is Ernest and, like I name implies, I am a soulful, sincere boy who is ready to enjoy the good life by your side. I can be shy when I first meet new people, but then I let my loving personality shine! My favorite activities include walkies around the neighborhood and playing in the yard with my doggie pals. In fact, my ideal forever home needs to have a fenced yard and another dog because both help me feel safe and content. I am kid friendly and would prefer a home where someone is home more often than not since I enjoy being around my people so much. I'm potty trained and have good house manners; as a younger guy, I would appreciate a family that is committed to signing me up for some training classes so I can keep working on my confidence and work my brain learning new commands and skills. I think it will be a fun activity for us to do together, and I am ready for a lifetime of fun!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
