Figgy is a gentle, happy boy who is still discovering what it means to be part of a home and family. He is dog friendly and seems to enjoy the company of dogs of all sizes, though he tends to prefer smaller dogs. His play style is easygoing-he's just beginning to figure out toys and what they're for, and it's been sweet to watch his curiosity grow.
Figgy is potty trained when given regular opportunities to go outside and is learning how to communicate which door he needs to use. He is crate trained and does well with structure and routine. His energy level is low to medium, making him a great companion for a calmer household. While his kid-friendliness is still unknown, he does best with patience and gentle guidance as he continues to build confidence.
He truly thrives on positive reinforcement and lights up when he realizes he's done something right. Figgy loves soft, cozy spots and is happiest cuddled up on the couch. He is still learning leash skills and will need someone willing to guide him as he learns, but he is smart and eager to please. With time, consistency, and kindness, Figgy will continue to blossom into a wonderful family companion.

When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.

Adoption Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age

Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

Have approval from owner of the residence (written in lease)

Have a valid ID with current address

Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation

Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
