BIO:
Woooo! That is husky speak for be my friend! My name is Gretchyn and I am a gorgeous girl who is looking for love and companionship with a husky-loving family. As is typical of my breed, I am an active, curious gal who enjoys spending lots of time outside exploring on long walks or in a secure yard. I can be an escape artist, so I would do best in a home with a tall, privacy fence (no chain-link fences that I can climb, please!); I would also do fine if you have no fence as long as you are active and eager to go on lots of long walkies with me! My friends say I am an excellent walking buddy and have great leash manners - if you need a pal to keep you company while you work on your fitness or when you want to explore the great outdoors, I am definitely the gal for you!

I am sweet and submissive with humans - I love to give hugs (but I am gentle about it and won't knock you over!) and enjoy lots of pets and massages. I am kid friendly, though I would probably do best with children who are big enough to handle my hugs and who will understand to close doors and gates so I don't take advantage of a chance to wander. I am happiest when I am around my friends and family, and can be talkative when left alone. I previously lived with other dogs and do best with slow introductions to new canine friends, and I also need a home without kitty cats or other small critters. I am potty trained, and I would also thrive with adopters who will sign me up for training classes; I am a smart lady who would love to see how much more I can learn, and I hear you can get treats as rewards which is great because I am pretty underweight right now and need to pack some pounds onto my lovely body. If you are ready for a life of fun and adventure, I would love to be your wingwoman! Hurry up and fill out an adoption application today - there is a lot of world we need to explore together!

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
