Hi there, future family! My name is Iclyn, and I am a sweet, soulful young lady who is looking for a family that will help me continue to blossom and gain confidence. I have been making great progress coming out of my shell in my foster home, but I can be insecure in new experiences and would appreciate patience while I adapt to my new life. I get along great with other dogs and think it would be a huge bonus if there were another canine companion in my forever home that could show me the ropes. Once I feel safe, I love snuggles with my people and play, play, playing as much as possible! My favorite activities include typical puppy antics such as playing with toys, romping around with the other doggies in my foster home, and exploring the house to find any unclaimed socks. My most favorite activity is running and playing outside so I would love a fenced yard at my forever home. Since I am so shy, I would do best in a home without young children. Did I mention I am a smart gal, too? I'm potty trained, rest well in my crate when my foster family has to leave the house for a while, and even know a few commands including sit and stay. My ideal forever family will be committed to signing me up for training classes - I enjoy learning and think classes will help me gain confidence in new settings. I have a whole lifetime ahead of me to enjoy, and I hope you give me a chance to experience it by your side!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
