Hi there! My name is Idalia, and I have an idea for you to consider: making me your best furry friend! I am a darling young girl with a contagiously happy personality. My favorite activities include running zoomies around the yard, playing catch, and entertaining myself with toys. I make fast friends with everyone I meet: people of all ages (including kiddos! I love the children in my foster home and my foster momma often finds me sleeping in their beds at night!), other doggies, cats, and even the resident parrot in my foster home. I would thrive with a family that either has a fenced yard where I can sprint around to get my energy out, or who will take me on lots of long walks for exercise; when I am all tired out from all our fun, nothing makes me happier than a nice, long cuddle on the couch. I am a smartypants, too, and am eager to learn more, so my forever family will have to agree to sign me up for training classes. I am working hard on potty and crate training; I already know to go to the door if I need to go out to do my business, so I just need a little patience while I learn the schedule of my new home. If you are looking for a companion who is fun, smart, and the biggest cuddlebug on the block, you can't go wrong with me!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
