Hi everyone. I'm Julep (as in sweet as a mint julep), a playful and loving young lady looking for my forever home. I make friends with everyone I meet-adults, kids, and other dogs (with proper introductions!) I can be a barker when I see other pups while walking on a leash, but I actually love to play with my canine pals and would prefer a similarly sized, active dog to romp around with. However, I would do best in a home without kitty cats. I enjoy playing outside and my ideal forever home will include a fenced yard, but I transform into a couch potato once inside the house.
I'm potty trained and have do fine in my crate once I get a few barkies out and settle down. Because of my young age, Fetching Tails requires that I get some training and I'm really looking forward to learning new things with you. I would thrive with patient humans who will work with me - especially on my leash manners and bouncy excited greetings - so I can become the super companion I am meant to be. I am a very smart girl who already knows a few commands including sit and down; I'm food motivated and love to please my people, so I think continued training will be a lot of fun for both of us! Are you interested in scheduling a meet and greet? Then please fill out an adoption application ASAP because I can't wait to get acquainted and win your heart!
Love and kisses,
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
