Meet Kaja! He is a gentle, timid little guy learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. He's dog-friendly and especially close with his brother, enjoying the comfort of familiar canine friends. While he doesn't really play yet, he coexists beautifully with other polite, calm dogs.
Kaja loves watching the world from the comfort of his bed and snuggling into cozy blankets for naps. He's very food-motivated, which will make continued training easy and fun. He'll approach you for pets, though he's still a bit unsure about being picked up or carried. With patience, he's sure to blossom into a loving, loyal lap dog.
He's not familiar with leash walks just yet, but with treats and encouragement, he'll be eager to learn. Kaja's heart is full of love - he just needs someone kind and patient to help it shine. Available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation

Adoption Fees
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.

Adoption Requirements

Lives in 50 mile radius of Itasca within the Illinois border

Be at least 21 years of age

Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

Have approval from owner of the residence (written in lease)

Have a valid ID with current address

Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation

Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
