Hi there, future family! My name is Larisa, and I am a loving, friendly lady who is eager to share my big heart with an affectionate family of my own. FTF rescued me and my eight babies from Mississippi, and now that my pups are old enough to find forever families, I am ready to find my own happily ever after, too! My favorite activities include sunbathing in the grassy yard, playing with crinkly toys, laying next to my humans, and receiving belly rubs. I am both kid and dog friendly, but loud noises can startle me so I would appreciate a quiet home without too much excitement. My ideal home also would include a securely fenced yard so I can enjoy the outdoors in peace. I am currently pretty low energy since I have been focused on taking care of my babies and also undergoing heartworm treatment, but I think I will be more playful once I am fully recovered and settled into my new life. I would thrive with patient humans who will continue to help me find my confidence and learn how to be loved and pampered. I am a smart girl who is already potty trained, crate trained, and I even know a few basic commands; I would appreciate a family that will sign me up for training classes so I can continue to learn and socialize in a positive setting. I am ready to relax and enjoy life, and I hope you fill out an adoption application so we can enjoy life together!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
