BIO:
Hello everyone! My name is Leo, and I'm a very sweet and affectionate classic tricolor young beagle. My brother Jonah and I were found as strays in Tennessee and brought to Illinois so that FTF could find us our forever person/family. (We aren't a bonded pair and can be adopted separately.) Now that I've discovered love, I can't get enough. So if you're looking for the perfect couch snuggler who'll lie across your lap as we binge-watch the latest streaming shows, I'm your boy. When you're busy, I'm perfectly content to play with my toys-or a canine buddy, if you already have one in your household. And I'm always up for a long walk (or sniff, as I call them). I have good leash manners and enjoy making friends with everyone we meet-big and small, young and old, 2-legged and 4-legged.

A couple other tidbits about me. I'm making good progress with potty training, and now that I have a regular schedule of outdoor breaks, I'm becoming more reliable every day. To be honest, the crate is not my favorite place. I'll go in it, but I really dislike being separated from my humans and bark my displeasure. So I'd probably do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment or townhome with shared walls between our neighbors. Other than that, the only requirement for my adoption (true for all young pups rescued by FTF) is that you sign us up for obedience classes. I promise I'll catch on fast (hint: treats are an excellent motivator), and we'll have lots of fun sharing this time together.

I know my perfect match is out there, and I sure hope it's you! If you think it could be, please fill out an adoption application right away. I can't wait until we meet.

Love and kisses,
Leo

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
