BIO:
Woo-Woof! Hello there, future family! My name is Marsh, and I am a big softie like a marshmallow once I feel safe and comfortable with people I can trust. You see, I was found as a stray in Texas, and didn't have any interaction with people in my puppyhood. I can be very shy when meeting new people, but I am quickly learning that humans aren't so bad and can provide me all the love I crave. I will thrive in an adult-only home with patient people that will give me time to feel safe - once I know you, be prepared for lots of sweet kisses and tail wags! I also LOVE other dogs and they really help me with my confidence, so I would do best in a family that already has a doggie companion for me to help show me the ropes of my new life. I am a playful dude with my canine companions, so one or two that don't mind my romps and wrestles and tug of war with toys (oh boy is that a fun game!) would be my best fit. I also get along with kitty cats and gave my feline friend the sweetest kisses when we met. Fetching Tails requires adopters of young dogs like me to sign us up for training, and I especially think training classes will be helpful for me - I am very smart and will thrive with positive reinforcement and direction so I can put my big brain to good use (I even think I would be an excellent agility dog once we pass basic training!), and training will also help me work on my socialization skills. I'm already potty and crate trained (like I said, smart boy!), and am eager to learn so much more. If you are willing to give me a chance and help me blossom into the happy-go-lucky, brilliant pup I know I am meant to be, I am sure I will be the special dog of a lifetime for your family! So go ahead and fill out an adoption application soon, ok? I want my new life to begin!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
