Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! I am a shy little lass who is dreaming about a quiet home with patient humans who will help me come out of my shell and shine! I can be aloof when first meeting new people, but if given the time to trust and feel safe at my own pace I will be your best furry friend in no time. I think I would do best in an only dog home, and would also prefer a home with no children. I enjoy going for walkies, sunbathing in the yard or on the deck (a fenced yard would be a big bonus, but is not required), and will sit next to my person for lots of pets and belly rubs once I am comfortable. I would love a home with someone who either works from/stays home or only leaves for a few hours at at a time. I am also potty and crate trained; in fact, I love my crate and enjoy hanging out in it when I feel like relaxing! If you have lots of love and patience to give and are willing to give me time to adapt to my new home, please fill out an adoption application soon!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
