Magical Merline here, ready to put a spell on you and make you mine! I'm a beautiful Shepherd/Labrador mix, estimated to be about 9 years old and 65 pounds. I am a devoted lady, and I will treat you with my sparkling smile whenever you tell me how much you love me. I am very laid-back, and my favorite activities include playing in the yard and curling up for a nap with a soft blanket. Don't let my age fool you, though, because I have great mobility: I love strolls around the neighborhood by your side and have no problem climbing stairs. I can be initially shy with men but warm up quickly, and I do well with women and kids. Once I know you, I get very attached and would do best in a home with people who are home often. If you have other dogs, I do better with calm dogs who won't expect me to play or get up in my face; I currently live with an 80-pound pittie mix in my foster home and we get along really well! I am cat friendly, too. But I would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only pet since I love my humans most of all!
I am potty and crate trained, though I also behave just fine and am not destructive if left out of my crate while you are gone. I require a fenced yard at my forever home: though I am a great walking buddy and have lovely leash manners, I do not like to potty on walks and prefer to do my business in the privacy of my yard. I am a kind and loyal friend, and dream about a patient, calm family who will provide me with all the love I have to give in return. Are you ready to make my dreams come true? Then please fill out an adoption application soon!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
