*10 Months Old - 40 Pounds
*Mostly Potty/Crate Trained
Want a big smooch? My name is Missy Mae, and I am dreaming of a forever family who will enjoy lots of kisses and playtime. I'm a high-energy beauty who loves attention and affection from humans of all ages (yes, I am kid friendly!) and I would thrive with an active family that will join me for long walkies and find fun ways to use my energy for good! My other favorite activities include romping and zooming around the yard off-leash, chewing on fun toys, gazing out the windows, and following my people around so I can sneak a kiss or two (or 12!) throughout the day.
I am very dog friendly, but need to work on my manners when meeting them while on a leash. I am mostly potty and crate trained, too, and have started to learn some basic commands including sit and staying on all fours (since I can be a bit of a jumping bean when I am excited!) I'm super treat motivated and respond well to positive reinforcement - I would appreciate a family that will commit to signing me up for training classes so I can keep up with my studies. I am bursting with love to give and am so excited to start my happily ever after with my fun-loving forever family! Fill out an adoption application soon so we can start our adventures together soon, yeah?
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
