*Playful, Strong-Willed Personality
*Does best with Submissive Dogs or as Only Dog
*Adult-Only Home (No Children)
*Fenced Yard Required
Hi there! My name is Moon Pie and I am a beautiful pittie/bulldog mix princess, estimated to be 6 years old and 55 pounds, who is available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation. I have a big personality that will keep you entertained: I am smart, funny, strong-willed and a social butterfly who loves to be around my people. I would do best in a quieter home without kids or cats, and need a fenced yard to enjoy because I am definitely an outdoorsy lady. I would be content as your only dog, but I could also be adopted to a home with a submissive dog who won't mind that I like to be the lady in charge. My favorite activities include going for walks (though I must admit I could use continued work on my leash skills because I can be strong and pull when I see something that interests me), sunbathing on the deck in our yard, and watching the world from my comfy dog bed by the windows.
I have pretty lovely house manners, as well. I'm potty trained, and as a proper lady I prefer the privacy of my own yard when I need to poop. When my foster momma needs to leave the house for a few hours, I am content to nap until she returns. Because of my stubborn streak and excitement especially on walkies, I would do best with an experienced owner. I am a solid bundle of affection who would do great with a human who wants an active, playful pal as well as a loving, devoted companion for quiet nights at home. What are you waiting for? You know you wanna fill out that adoption application!
If you'd like to adopt this dog please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent). Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
