Mousse is a 65-pound, high-energy goofball who arrived as a stray from Texas and has been winning hearts ever since. He's wonderfully dog-friendly and loves being around other pups, watching them, playing with them, and joining in on any fun they're having. Cats, however, are not his thing, so a feline-free home will be best for him. Mousse is also kid-friendly, though his enthusiasm is big and his body is even bigger, so he'll be happiest with older children who can handle his joyful bursts of excitement.
He's mostly potty trained and keeps his suite consistently clean, though he can still have the occasional accident if he isn't taken out regularly. With a routine and continued practice, he's sure to master it fully. Crates aren't his favorite place-this boy loves his freedom and expresses every thought with his whole body, especially his tail. Mousse wags with such force and frequency that he's developed "happy tail," so avoiding crate confinement or working with a trainer on calmer crate habits will be important.
Mousse thrives on activity and connection. He adores people, toys, food, treats, walks, play sessions, adventures, and pretty much anything that keeps his mind and body busy. He has a high prey drive and would flourish with someone who leads an active lifestyle and enjoys training, agility, nose work, or anything that helps channel his energy into something positive and fun. His future foster or adopter should be prepared to offer alternative means of confinement to protect his tail and provide plenty of exercise to keep him happy and healthy.
Mousse is overflowing with potential, personality, and love-he's just waiting for the right person to help him shine.
