BIO:
Howdy, pals! Nate-dog here, ready to report for duty as your best furry friend! I am a friendly young guy who enjoys the finer things in life including playtime (with my favorite toys and my doggie pals), long walks, and trying to curl up in your lap for some quality cuddle time. Since I am a big boy who doesn't quite realize his size, I would do best with older kids who I can't accidentally knock over. I get along well with other dogs, and do best with playful canine pups who will tolerate my silliness. I am a smart dude, too, and am already potty trained. I don't love my crate yet and have a loud singing voice when home alone, so I need a single-family house without shared walls as my forever home so I don't bother the neighbors too much (so no apartments/townhouses/condos for me, please!) I would love to see how much more I can learn, so my adopters will need to sign me up for training classes. I am also recovering from heartworm treatment, and I will need to be kept calm for a few weeks (that shouldn't be too hard, since I am very happy when given the chance to snuggle with my people!) My Fetching friends will be happy to explain the treatment in further detail, and once recovered we are going to have the most amazing life filled with lots of fun! I hope you fill out an adoption application soon so we can start our happily ever after together.
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
