Behold! I am the mighty Odin, and I am looking for a castle to call my own. I'm a young guy who would thrive with humans that have herding dog experience and will help me blossom into the confident, well-mannered king I am meant to be. I am very smart (maybe too smart for my own good haha!) and can be mischievous when I get bored, so active humans that will give me a job to do and keep me busy will be my best match. My favorite jobs include long walks and jogs (I would be a great running buddy!), playing fetch, romping and barking with my doggie friends, and toys that work my mind like puzzle feeders. I love other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine pal to play with.
I am very sweet with my family, but need slower introductions to new people because I can be shy on first greetings. I would also prefer a home without young children under the age of 13. I am potty and crate trained, and am ready to expand my skill set! Fetching Tails requires adopters of young dogs like me to sign us up for training, and I really think I will benefit from classes since I love to learn (and I am very food motivated so I look forward to earning treats!) If you are ready for a life with a loving and smart furry friend, please fill out an adoption application soon. I think we will have a legendary adventure!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
