*2 Years Old - 56 Pounds
*Potty & Crate Trained
Greetings from Ollie the lovebug! I'm a sweet and gentle young guy who's a perfect combination of get up and go and lie back and cuddle. Car rides and long walks are two of my favorite activities. And if you're a runner, count on me to be by your side, keeping pace as we go the distance. But at the end of the day, there's nothing I like to do more than snuggle next to my person and watch TV or settle into my dog bed with a good bone.
When it comes to house manners, I'm pleased to report that I'm totally potty- and crate-trained. The crate is my man cave, where I'm content to silently wile away the hours playing with toys or snoozing when my foster family is at work (4-5 hours at a stretch) and overnight. I've never had any formal training and am just starting to learn some basic commands, like "sit," "down," and "no jump," so I'll need you to continue my education. You'll find I'm a quick study (and definitely treat-motivated) who will work hard to become the best boy ever and make you proud of me. Other than training, I have no special requirements. I love everyone I meethumans and canines alike-and get along great and am always gentle with my 3 foster doggie siblings, who are similarly sized as me. So if you already have a dog around my size (I may be too strong for a small dog) it would be terrific to have a pal but not essential. Ditto a house and fenced yard-nice perks, but I'll do fine in a condo or apartment, as long as I get plenty of walk and exercise time. I haven't met young children yet, but I am very friendly with men and women.
My foster family describes me as handsome, friendly, sweet, gentle, and very loving. Are these the qualities you're seeking in a canine companion? If so, your search is over. Please fill out an adoption application ASAP, and let's start our new life together!
Love and kisses,
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
