*9 Years Old - 61 Pounds
*Loyal and Sweet
*Loves Long Walks and Car Rides
Looking for a sweet treat? My name is Oreo Sr., and I am a devoted doggie looking for someone to love for my golden years! Don't let my age fool you: I might be a senior, but I still have lots of living to do and love going for long walks, car rides, and playing in a sprinkler in my yard. Inside, I am generally calm with excellent house manners. I bond quickly with my person and am very loyal to them once settled, so I would do best in a quiet home without many visitors or young children. I would also do best in a home without a shared entrance, so no apartment buildings for me, please! I have met other dogs and cats and did well with them, so I wouldn't mind if you already have another furry friend. I am very smart, too, and in addition to being potty trained also know a few commands. Nothing makes me happier than being with my person, and I aim to make them as happy as I am. I have a lot of love to give my special person, so I hope you fill out an adoption application to bring me home soon!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
