Howdy, pals! My name is Redford, and I am a handsome fella who would love to be your best furry playmate and velcro dog for life. I had a lonely existence pre-rescue: I was found living in a bush on the side of an interstate covered (I mean COVERED!) in ticks; I am a dude who loves to be around people and other dogs, so believe me when I say how much I prefer my new life! All that is missing is a forever family to call my own. I am great with people of all ages and think I would do well in a home with kiddos who are old/big enough to handle my happy, playful personality. I am an active guy, and love long walks or playing for hours with my doggie friends; I adore dogs of all sizes, but would do best with playful dogs who don't mind my energy. When I am tired out from all our fun, my favorite activity is lounging by your side - my friends call me a velcro dog for a reason! I am smart, too, and love to learn so my adopters will need to agree to sign me up for training classes. I am mostly potty trained - I still have some accidents, but I am making great improvements already - and I'm crate trained. If you are looking for a dog who wants to be the life of the party and is always up for more fun and more love, I hope you fill out an adoption applciation today!

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
