After what was likely a long past of being a "baby daddy" before rescue, Ronald received a much-needed neuter and dental, and he is now feeling better than ever. He has discovered the joy of soft blankets, warm laps, and the comfort of being truly loved.

Ronald is a confident, outgoing, and incredibly affectionate little man who melts into your lap the moment you sit down. He loves to snuggle, burrow, and be as close as possible to his humans. He's also very food motivated and will absolutely "supervise" your meals-something his foster is gently working on, since he was likely fed table food in his past life. Despite his age, he enjoys exploring the house and going on short walkies before settling in for his favorite activity: cuddling.

He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently lives with an 80-pound Rottweiler. They coexist peacefully, and Ronald loves to cuddle up next to him when he isn't getting a little too excited and trying to mount, which he redirects from easily. Kid friendliness is unknown, but Ronald would prefer a calm and quiet home that matches his senior lifestyle.

He is potty trained as long as he has frequent pee breaks, and he's both pen and crate trained, sleeping comfortably in his crate at night. More than anything, Ronald would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who enjoys a relaxed routine-perhaps an older or retired adopter, or anyone who appreciates the charm and quirks of the Chihuahua breed.
