BIO:
Hi there! My name is Shelley, and I am a lovely lady who would love to spend my life by your side as your smiley best furry friend. I am a pittie mix, estimated to be about 12 years old and just under 50 pounds, who is available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation. I am an affectionate girl, and my huge smile is contagious. I get along with people of all ages and the kiddos in my foster home are my best friends, for sure! Don't let my age fool you: I still enjoy being active and love a game of fetch or playing with toys. I also enjoy sunbathing in the grass and napping near you. I would be happiest as your one and only furry friend; I previously lived with other dogs and am ok around very calm dogs who will give me space to nap, but I also really like your attention focused on me!
My ideal home would include someone who is home more often than not since I like to be around my people so much. I am potty trained, but need to do my business frequently as I was diagnosed with early-stage kidney disease so I have to pee-pee often; I am on a prescription diet that I will need to be on the rest of my life. I prefer not to be crated and will rest in my dog bed if you have to leave the house to run errands. More than anything, I just want someone to love me and give me a comfy, happy home for my senior years! If you think I could be the devoted girl for you, please fill out an adoption application soon so we can get our happily ever after started!
Love,
Shelley
If you'd like to adopt this dog please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent). Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
