BIO:
Hear ye, hear ye! I am Sophie, and I am a beautiful queen who is looking for a devoted royal family and cozy castle to call my own. I had a life of luxury with my wonderful mom for many years, but sadly because of her medical issues I had to be returned to Fetching Tails so I can find a new home and family to love. It has been sad and confusing for me, but I am soaking up all the attention I can from my FTF friends to heal my heart. I am a devoted girl who bonds to my person quickly; if you are looking for a little doggie who adores snuggles and being right by your side all day, every day, I am definitely the pup for you! I also enjoy leisurely walks, having my distinct mohawk brushed and laying next to you while we watch our stories or read a good book. I get along with people of all ages (I am not sure about very young children/toddlers because I haven't met any in many years!) and am also friendly with dogs who are small like me (bigger dogs scare me so I would appreciate you being mindful to put some distance between me and any large doggies when we are out and about on walks!) I am a quiet, well-behaved roommate who is potty trained and house trained - I do not need to be crated when you leave the house for work or errands because I will find one of my favorite cozy beds for a nap until you return. Will you pretty please give me a chance and a nice life for my retirement years? I have so much love to give and so desperately want to be back with a family who loves me as much as my previous owner did. Go ahead and fill out that adoption application - you know you want to!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
