Hello future family! My name is Thea, and I am a lovely and loving typical Lab who is looking for a forever family with whom I can share my joy. I will make you smile with my silly antics - I am very food motivated and might take my job as counter inspector seriously - and friendly personality. Some of my favorite activities include going for long walks and eating tasty snacks. I am very dog friendly, but would do best in a home without kitties because they turn me into a scaredy cat. If you have children, I think I would do best with older ones for now until I have some more training under my belt: I can be enthusiastic when greeting my pals and would hate to accidentally knock over a little friend. Speaking of training, Fetching Tails requires adopters of young dogs like me to sign us up for classes, and I am looking forward to the opportunity so I can continue to fine-tune my manners and work on my leash-walking skills. Have I mentioned yet how food motivated I am? I hear you can get treats in training class, so I am excited to earn some snackies by showing off my big brain! Hurry up and fill out an adoption application soon - I cannot wait to start our fun, adventure-filled life together!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
