BIO:
Tonks here, hoping to find a special, compassionate person who will give me the calm, quiet life I have always dreamed about. You see, I was rescued from a large breeding operation where I lived in a cage my entire life, and I need help adapting to a happy, love-filled life that all dogs should have. This new life of freedom is all new for me, so I need a patient human who will help me overcome my past and love me for me. I would thrive in a calm home without many visitors or children (teenagers are fine), ideally with a woman because I am still fearful of men. I would also like to be your only pet so I can soak up your attention for myself. I am already potty and crate trained, and have worked with a trainer a bit to help me adjust to my new life; my adopter will need to sign me up for classes so I can continue to learn and grow. It will be a great bonding experience for us, and my biggest heart's desire is to have a bond with someone who will make me feel safe, loved, and like a real dog. If you think you could be the special person to help make my heart whole, please get in touch with my friends at Fetching Tails soon!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
