*7 Years Old - 57 Pounds
*Very Playful and Loves Walks
*Potty & Crate Trained
*Recovering From Heartworm Treatment
Are you already dreaming about summer? My name is Viollet, and I am a playful gal who is as pretty as a flower and who would love to spend a lifetime frolicking in the meadows by your side! I would thrive with an active family since my favorite activities include going on long walks (I can move fast so I could be a great workout buddy!), chewing on durable toys, and playing with my doggie foster siblings. I get along great with other dogs, and did well meeting my foster momma's 8-year-old nephew. I think given my playful energy and strength, I would do best in a home with older children if you have kiddos - I am very sweet and would be very sad to accidentally knock over one of my tiny friends! It would be a bonus to have a fenced yard to enjoy, but as long as you promise to take me on plenty of walks and adventures to get my energy out, a fenced yard isn't required. I also need a family without kitty cats. When I am all tired out from a fun day, nothing makes me happier than curling up for a quality snuggle sesh on the couch with the people I love.
Not only am I a beauty with a happy, friendly personality, but I have brains, too! I am already potty and crate trained, and know a few commands including sit, stay, and no. Nobody is totally perfect, and although I might whine a bit when first going in my crate because I would rather be with you (don't worry, I settle down quickly and nap!),I should be crated for my safety because I have a mischievous streak and love to parade around carrying pillows or shoes if left to my own devices. I am also recovering from heartworm treatment and need to be kept on the calmer side until I am given the all clear by my doctor. So please hurry up and fill out that adoption application so we can start cuddling and resting up for a fun summer and life ahead!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
When you adopt a dog, you're not buying a pet. Your donation isn't a fee for your adoptee - it's a gift that helps us pursue our mission, save lives, and ensure we can provide care to all the dogs in our program.
