BIO:
Greetings from your friend Zero. My happy face may look familiar to you, as I've been on FTF website for a while. Why I haven't found a home yet is a mystery because I'm a very affectionate, good-natured pooch with a real zest for life. One of my favorite activities is cuddling. I love, love, love being held, and my preferred sleeping location is my human's bed! I also enjoy chasing squirrels in the backyard, playing with my toys, and going on long walks. I always make new friends on these excursions and soak up all the pets and attention I can get from the adults and kiddos I meet.

Here are some other facts about me: I'm potty-trained, my foster mom calls me a rockstar when it comes to nail trims, baths, and dress-up. I also know a few commands, including "sit" and "down" and am working on "leave it" and "wait/stay." I'll need you to commit to continuing my training, so that I can perfect my skills and become the best canine companion ever. I have excellent house manners when my foster family is around but have some separation anxiety when left alone. I would thrive with someone home frequently, and just need your patience in teaching me that you'll always come back to me. I'm good with other dogs after a proper introduction, but sometimes act like a pesky younger brother. If you have a laid-back/older dog who doesn't mind having a toy dangled in their face to get them to play, I know we'll get along great. Finally, a fenced yard (for squirrel chasing), would be terrific but not essential.

My foster mom describes me as goofy, adorable, loving, a bit mischievous, and very intelligent. Like my namesake the loyal ghost dog in The Nightmare Before Christmas, my true calling is to be your trusty companion through all of life's adventures. Are you ready to team up? If so, please fill out an adoption application right away because I can't wait to meet you!

Love and licks,
Zero

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
