Doreen is the Treasurer and Co-Founder of Fetching Tails Foundation. She found her calling 14 years ago when a dear friend asked her to help by fostering "just one" puppy. Doreen has her degree in Business from DePaul University. She worked in the auto business for 25 years and had her own transport company. All of that was given up to dedicate her time to saving unwanted homeless dogs and has never regretted that decision. Doreen specialty is the puppies!
Doreen and her husband have two children, two grandchildren, two rescued 4 legged children (Bentley & Beau) and two 4 legged grand-dogs (Mia & George.) She loves to travel even if it means driving a truck to rescue dogs from down south. Her husband who was never a big animal fan has since been converted and is one of her biggest supporters.
Fun Fact: She owes her animal education to one of her best friends who introduced her to the rescue mission. Doreen went from "just one" puppy to fostering litters at a time. These precious babies stay with her until their fur-ever home is found.
