Our People

Kristy Michalski

Volunteer Coordinator

Kristy is the volunteer coordinator for Fetching Tails Foundation. Her passion for animals started at a very young age and hasn’t stopped growing since.

Kristy is one who knows the importance of having a strong support system to rely on so she strives to be just that to all the dogs that come to FTF. Aside from supporting our dogs, she also tries to support all of our volunteers because, without them, this wouldn’t be possible.

Kristy currently has two adopted senior pugs of her own (both came in with medical) and is always there to root for the underdogs. Her favorite part of rescue is seeing the amazing transformation these dogs make while in our care - it’s so rewarding.

No matter what’s going on in her personal life Kristy will always advocate for the rescue community and be there to help in whatever way she can. She loves meeting new people who share the same passion as her and believes everyone has something great to offer!

Fun Furry Fact

Kristy's life goal has always been to make a difference in as many lives as possible (animals and humans alike). Between doing rescue and working with children on the autism spectrum - her heart always remains full!
