Meet Copper, an 8-year-old, 15-pound bundle of sweetness looking for a calm, loving home to call his own. Rescued from a puppy mill, Copper is discovering just how wonderful life can be, and every day his personality shines a little brighter.

Copper is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves nothing more than being close to his people. Whether he's following his foster mom from room to room, soaking up the sunshine on the patio, curling up on the couch for snuggles, or enjoying a peaceful walk around the neighborhood, he's happiest simply spending time with those he loves. His foster cant help but laugh when he carefully hides pieces of his food under his blanket in his crate, saving them for later like a little treasure.

His ideal day starts with a trip outside, breakfast, lounging around the house, sunbathing, an afternoon walk, dinner, and then relaxing beside his family for the evening. Copper has low energy, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows the command come. He doesn't have much interest in toys, but he more than makes up for it with his loving personality.

Copper is crate trained and settles nicely after a few minutes if he whines when left alone. He's also making great progress with potty training. As a non-shedding pup, hell need regular grooming to keep his coat looking its best.

Because of his puppy mill past, Copper can be shy and easily startled by sudden movements. He would do best in a quiet, patient home with older children or adults who will give him the time and reassurance he needs to continue building his confidence. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, although hes still a bit timid around them at first.

If you're looking for an easygoing, quiet companion with a heart full of love, Copper may be your perfect match. All he wants is a peaceful home, gentle people, and a cozy spot by your side. In return, hell reward you with endless loyalty, quiet companionship, and all the snuggles you could ask for.
