About
Grant
Grant is a smart, playful, and inquisitive puppy with a heart as big as his puppy energy. Weighing in at 20 pounds and still growing, this affectionate boy is always ready for his next adventure, whether that's a walk, a game with his dog friends, or snuggling up on the couch after a busy day.
Grant starts his mornings bright and early with a potty break, breakfast, and playtime before settling in for a nap. His afternoons include more play and another potty break, while evenings are reserved for walks, fun, and family time. He is crate trained and does well when crated while home alone. He is currently working on potty training and has already started learning basic commands like "sit." Grant loves every toy he can get his paws on and is happiest when he's playing or exploring.
His foster family says what makes them laugh most is how genuinely excited he is every time he sees them. His tail never stops wagging, and his joyful personality is contagious. Grant is great with kids, loves other dogs, and has been fostered successfully with cats. He would thrive in an active home, especially one with another playful canine companion.
Before coming to Fetching Tails Foundation, Grant's story began in difficult circumstances. Rescuers found him and his littermates lying on a cold kitchen floor while their frightened mama hid under a bed, trying to stay safe from the other dogs in the home. The family, overwhelmed by illness and too many animals, reached out for help, and the shelter stepped in just in time. Thanks to rescue, Grant has traded that cold floor for a warm foster home and a bright future.
Now all he needs is a forever family to continue his incredible journey. If you're looking for a friendly, loving, and intelligent puppy who will keep you smiling every day, Grant may be the perfect addition to your family.
