BIO:
Greetings! Jamie here. If you're looking for a professional snuggler with a heart as warm as her cozy bed, look no further! I'm a petite girl who is a bit shy when meeting new humans, but don't let that fool you - I warm up quickly and become your loyal shadow in no time. It can take me a little longer to trust men, but once I do I love with my whole heart (my foster daddio says he loves my sweet personality!) Once you've earned my trust, get ready for tail wags, cries of excitement and a sweet bond that will make you melt! I came to Fetching Tails after being surrendered by our previous owners. I had a rough start to life, as my owner kept me outside and I kept escaping - how can you blame me, there's so much to see! I loves the great outdoors and would love either a secure backyard of my own or humans who enjoy lots of walks to safely explore the world around us.

Some of my other favorite activities include curling up with blankets or with my favorite humans, and sunbathing. I'm cat friendly as well as dog friendly with slow introductions. I might give a little growl (or two) at first when meeting new doggos - it's just my way of saying "I need a moment" and with a little patience, I warm up right away. As a young pup, I am still learning the ropes of walking on a leash and house training, but I am making steady progress with positive reinforcement (I am very food motivated!) and a gentle touch. My foster dad reports that I'm a smart gal who has gotten the hang of potty training already, but my crate training is a work in progress - I still use my escape artist talents to try and get out to be by your side. I think my confidence will really blossom in training classes (an adoption requirement for all young pups like me), so I look forward to seeing how much we can learn together. I'm ready for my happy-ever-after and I'm hoping we are a perfect match! Fill out an application and schedule a time to come meet me soon.

If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
