Jamie is a sweet and loving 25-pound brown and white pup with a heart as big as her personality. She's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly-always up for a walk, a round of zoomies, or a cozy nap nestled in a pile of pillows. Jamie loves to play with her best friend Oakley, the neighbor's dog, and she thrives when she has another dog around to boost her confidence.
She's a smart and eager-to-please girl who already knows "sit," "down," "leave it," and "touch." Jamie is 100% potty trained and an excellent walker-she'll even stop and sit when you stop. Her strong prey drive means squirrels and geese are very exciting, but with proper introductions and oversight, she may do fine in a home with a cat. Around food, she's polite-curious but never pushy, even if you leave the room.
While Jamie loves deeply, she struggles with being alone. She experiences separation anxiety and becomes distressed when left without her people, so she's looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. A household with another confident dog would be ideal for her, giving her both companionship and reassurance.
Jamie can be cautious with new people, especially men, and she may vocalize her uncertainty, but with patience and proper introductions, she warms up and shows her affectionate side. She especially loves women who understand and appreciate dogs.
At her core, Jamie is alert, intelligent, playful, and deeply loving. She enjoys her independence but also loves to snuggle up when she feels safe and relaxed. One of her sweetest quirks is her habit of "rescuing" her toys after being left alone-gathering them up as if to make sure everyone is accounted for. Jamie is a truly special dog who will flourish in a patient, loving home with plenty of company and a dog friend by her side.
