Meet Mitts!
This little guy is as sweet as they come. Mitts is a low-to-medium energy pup who's happiest when he's simply with his person - whether that's following you around the house, curling up on the sofa for a nap, or tagging along on a walk.
Dog friendly? Absolutely! Even the foster parents' picky dogs didn't mind Mitts moving in. He's non-threatening, keeps to himself, and now that he's warming up, he has adorable bursts of zoomies around the house and yard. He'd love a dog friend but would also be perfectly fine as the only dog in the home.
Potty trained? Not quite there yet, but making great progress! Mitts has gone days accident-free and runs straight to his favorite potty spot in the yard. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll be a potty pro in no time.
Crate trained? Yes! Mitts sleeps quietly in his crate overnight and uses it during the day when I can't supervise him. He's content as long as his crate is nearby and will only bark briefly when you first come home. Once he's fully potty trained, he likely won't need to be crated when left alone.
Kid friendly? Because of his small size and initial shyness, Mitts would do best with older, gentle kids. He can be a little nervous at first and back away if approached too quickly, but once he warms up, he's happy to approach for pets and affection.
What does Mitts enjoy?
Being with his humans (he's your little shadow!)
Snoozing on the sofa
Backyard exploring & walks
Treats, kongs, and lick mats
Zoomie bursts when he's feeling playful
Mitts is the sweetest little soul - gentle, bouncy, and loving. He's easy to have around, wants nothing more than to love and be loved, and his adorable little tongue that's always peeking out will make you smile every day.
