About
Pryce
FAST FACTS:
* 1 years old & 9lbs
* Dog Friendly
* Working On Potty Training
* Home With Kids Over 10+ Years
Pryce is a curious, intelligent, and playful pup with a medium-to-high energy level. He loves to play, explore, and climb on anything he can reach-end tables, coffee tables, even making an attempt at the kitchen table! After his bursts of energy, he's happy to settle down for a cozy nap.
Pryce's favorite activities include going for leisurely walks (he's a slow walker because he wants to sniff and see everything) and playing a hilarious game of "almost fetch." He'll chase after a stuffed toy, grab it, shake it, and proudly run around with it-just don't expect him to bring it back!
Pryce gets along with other dogs, reading and respecting their corrections, though he really wishes they'd play with him. He's also met a cat and, while very curious (and sometimes barky), he doesn't show intent to harm-if anything, the cat is the one keeping him in check!
He has shown some protective behavior toward his foster mom, snapping a few times when other dogs came too close. With training and structure-learning to go to his "bed" and not being allowed on the couch-this behavior has stopped. He's a smart boy who caught on to the "bed" command in just two days and is already improving with boundaries.
Pryce is still working on his potty training but is eager to learn with a consistent schedule. He goes into his crate willingly for a peanut butter Kong, but he barks a lot when left alone, whether crated or not-so apartment or condo living may not be the best fit for him.
Pryce has only met adults so far and is initially timid, but treats quickly win him over. Because he may find very young kids overwhelming, a home with children 10+ would be best.
This sweet, energetic boy is looking for a patient adopter who will continue his training and provide structure, walks, and playtime. Pryce will reward you with curiosity, smarts, and plenty of love!
