Hello, I'm Renee! I'm a blue-eyed beauty with lots of love and lots of attitude. Not too much is known about my back-story but I'm glad to be in the care of my new human friends receiving all the support and attention I deserve. I've got lots of puppy energy in me and I need a patient family who is willing to work with me through my "teenage" years. Like most teenagers, I can be a tad bit spicy when meeting strangers - I do best meeting new dogs in a neutral zone like on a walk or in the Fetching Tail facility's outdoor play yard. Stimulation overload makes me a bit dramatic! I can be a tad bit nippy when I'm over-stimulated and an air can corrector brings my shenanigans to a halt. Once I'm past my "devil-dog" reaction and I trust my new dog companion, I'm a great playmate. I share my toys nicely and I'm always down for a good play-wrestle session. I enjoy a break from my dog friends and I'll keep myself entertained with a bone or squeaky toy right next to you on the couch. I'm nearly there with potty-training - a consistent routine with regular bathroom breaks will get me there in no time! I'm really good in my kennel - just let me in and I'll lay down and go right to sleep. My human friends take me on long walks to burn off some steam - I've got excellent endurance! I'm working hard on staying focused during walks (I prefer to stare at you instead), as well as not biting the leash (it's so tempting!) but I know I'll break these habits in no time. My motivation for food and my desire for praise will make me a star student in training classes - learning together will make our bond that much stronger! Want to add a little sugar and spice to your life? Schedule a time to come see me, I'm looking forward to it!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
