Alison
Volunteer Coordinator
Alison is our volunteer coordinator. Since childhood, Alison has lived in a home with at least one dog and today she and her husband have six (four of which are very spoiled foster fails from Fetching Tails). Alison first started volunteering with Fetching Tails in 2018 as a foster and an events team member. Due to a career change at the end of 2024, Alison eagerly started spending more time helping out at the rescue. Now she volunteers as an ARC lead, foster, adoption counselor, and helps with transports. Alison is honored to serve as the Volunteer Coordinator for FTF. She truly believes that each volunteer who comes to help the dogs is essential to the care, healing, and socialization the dogs need to thrive while under FTF’s care. For this reason, she is passionate about supporting and communicating with the volunteers to develop a lasting relationships between them and FTF.
While spending time with dogs is her favorite past time, Alison also enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, reading, chatting with her mom, and traveling with her husband. Alison is an avid learner and earned both a Masters in Library and Information Science and a Masters in Religious Studies: Yoga Traditions.
