Our People

Callie is the Foster Relations Coordinator. She works closely with potential fosters to ensure the right match for both families and dogs. With a soft spot for senior and special-needs pups, Callie is committed to giving every dog the second chance they deserve.

Callie began her rescue journey in 2022, following the adoption of her mutt, Ada. Inspired by Ada’s foster family, Callie started volunteering for Fetching Tails Foundation as a walker, and quickly joined the staff as Shift Lead. In addition to her coordinator and shift lead responsibilities, Callie supports the rescue through adoption meets, vet visits and transportations, and spay sits. Callie’s first attempt at fostering resulted in a “foster fail” with her second mutt, Nomi. Having grown up with dogs and cats her whole life (currently including Slate and Cecily), Callie brings a lifelong passion for animal welfare to everything she does.

Outside of her duties at Fetching Tails Foundation, Callie works in FinTech as a Product Manager at YCharts. Her husband, Tyler, also volunteers at the rescue as an “on-demand handyman”.
