Hazel is a low-key, happy girl who seems to be everyone's friend. She's dog friendly and does great playing with a handful of dogs while also calmly coexisting with others. Her energy level is best described as low-to-medium-she enjoys a good play session or some toy time, but she's just as content lounging nearby, soaking up the moment with her people or another dog by her side.

She's kid friendly and would do well with children of all ages. Hazel is working on her potty training and is getting there; she does really well when taken out on a consistent schedule and goes quickly, she just needs the structure of a home to finish polishing those skills. She is crate trained in the sense that she does settle, though she may howl at first. With time, positive reinforcement, and continued work, she'll learn that her crate is a safe and cozy place.

Hazel loves food (a great training motivator!) and enjoys running around, playing with toys, or simply receiving pets. She's a girl who's always ready to play with a friend but knows how to settle beautifully afterward. The only time she's shown mild grumpiness with another dog was around food, and it was a brief correction before she moved on without issue.

Hazel would be perfectly happy in a home where she can be with her people and ideally another dog. She's mellow, friendly, and the kind of dog everybody instantly likes-the type who fits right in and makes a house feel like home.
