BIO:
Hi there. My name is Milo, and I am a soulful guy who is looking for a family that will fully love me and give me the attention I deserve. I survived parvo and was adopted as a puppy, but my family decided they were too busy for me so now I am looking for my true happily ever after. I will thrive with patient humans who will give me time to settle in and feel safe - this major life change has been stressful for me and I need a bit of time to come out of my shell. Once I know I am safe, I am an affectionate guy: it only took me about 20 minutes to start giving my foster mom gentle kisses as a thank you for helping me! I previously lived with three kids and did great with them; given my age and generally calm demeanor, I think I would do better with older children. I also co-exist around other dogs and would be fine with or without a canine companion.
I would love a family where someone is home more often than not so I can soak up your love. My previous family crated me for 12 hours a day while they were away from home, and although I am good in my crate while you're gone, I would much prefer attention and affection. I am a great furry friend who is not only cuddly, but is also fun! I enjoy long walks and jogs so I would love to be your workout buddy. My favorite playtime activity is running around the yard, enjoying the sunlight and fresh air. I also have good manners: I am potty trained and know a bunch of commands including sit, down, bed, go, and give paw.
Do you think I could be your lovebug for life? I have been through so much over the years, and simply want a family to love me as much as I love them. If you want to make my simple dreams come true, please fill out an adoption application soon - I can't wait to meet you!
Love,
Milo
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
